Maura, on September 7 you sent four rounds of notes about the site. This page walks through every one of them. For each change you will see your own words asking for it, what the page looked like before, and what it looks like now.

There are two parts. First, everything that is done. Then the short list of things we have held back, each with a question for you.

None of this is live yet. Everything below is made and ready, sitting in a preview copy of your site. We are holding it as one piece until the handful of questions at the bottom are settled, so your site changes once rather than in stages. Answer those and it all goes up together.

The opening description on your home page is now the shorter version you wrote, the one that begins “spatial medicine in motion”. The longer version you sent stays available on the What Is AST page, so nothing you wrote is lost.

The link is in, worded exactly as you wrote it, and it goes to the What Is AST page. We kept your wording rather than shortening it to something like “Learn more”, because the words inside a link tell Google a great deal about the page it points to, and yours nearly match that page’s own heading.

One small thing. You wrote this to sit directly under the opening, because in your version the next section is gone. That next section is the one question we are holding (it is first in part two below). For now the link sits at the end of the block instead. Once you answer, it lands exactly where you asked with nothing further to do.

Attunement, Alignment and Embodiment now appear on the home page as three short lines with a link, and the four long paragraphs you wrote about them now close the What Is AST page. This is a move, not a cut. Every word you wrote is still on your site, just on the page where you said it belongs.

Worth knowing. Your four paragraphs were copied across exactly as they were, character for character, rather than retyped. Not one word of yours passed through anyone’s hands on the way. We also kept the three names as real headings, so Google and AI assistants can still tell where each principle begins.

Your new copy is in, including the Tom Myers passage on spatial medicine, with Myers named inside your own sentence so a reader knows immediately whose words they are. Your punctuation is preserved exactly as you typed it.

Something you should know about, because you could not have. Your new copy did not include your paragraph that begins “a precision modality built around conditions that are rare in bodywork”. That paragraph had been moved onto this page a few days earlier, so it was no longer where you last saw it, and swapping in your new copy wholesale would have taken it off your site altogether. We kept it, sitting first, and replaced only the two paragraphs your new copy actually supersedes. It reads as one piece. If you would rather it went, say so and it goes.

The heading and the paragraph underneath it are both yours now: the fabric, gravity, and the practitioner. You were right that the old version described three things under a heading that said two.

We checked one thing first. Renaming a heading can break any link that points at it. We looked before renaming, found nothing pointing at the old name, and also caught two other spots behind the scenes that still said “double holding”. Those are updated too, so your site does not say two different things.

Your replacement copy is in on the training page.

One difference worth pointing out, in case it was not deliberate. Your new version drops two sentences the page had before, including “the body experiences itself as one continuous, unified system”. That is your cut of your own writing, so we made it exactly as you sent it. If you want either sentence back, it takes a minute.

Setup, tying and washing come off the public page

You wrote, September 7 “a part of me doesnt want to share this unless people buy a swing. then they et the details of re-tyiing , and probably also washing...can we change that until after purchase? and not have it living on my website..i dont want people to get the idea of buying and making their own swing.”

Both sections are off the public page: the tying instructions and the full washing and care routine. That is 173 words, and none of them are deleted. They are saved whole, exactly as written, ready to drop into whatever you send a buyer after they order.

This also cancels something we asked you for. We had asked for a photograph of someone tying a swing. Your reason is better than our reason, so that request is withdrawn and we will not raise it again. There is one question attached to this change, about the single sentence now standing in its place. It is in part two below.

Michelle’s name now links to her own site in both places she appears. Her credentials were already correct in all three places they show, so those were left alone. A named teacher with a real site behind her name carries more weight with a reader, and with anything checking whether she is real.

Professional bodyworker since 2005

You wrote, September 7 “i became a professional bodyworker 21 years ago...but have been studying many other things that thread in...yoga teacher in 2001, movement explorer since i was 5. so my years of experience..go back in many ways to 5, but as a professional since 2005,”

You answered our question, so the two sentences on your site that make a claim about your professional experience now both say since 2005. We used the year rather than a count on purpose: “21 years” is wrong again next January, and nobody ever remembers to update it. A year stays true.

What we did not touch. Other places on the site talk about decades of developing the modality, or decades of yoga study. Those are not claims about your professional credential, and several of them are sentences you wrote yourself in the copy you sent on the 7th. We left all of those exactly as you wrote them.

Checked, and there is nothing to change. That page carries no price of any kind and already invites people to reach out directly.

Your question about repeating the practice description

You asked “this is where i am confused if we should repeat what it says under the practice on the home page?”

You already answered it yourself. Your home page version is the short teaser and your What Is AST version is longer and differently worded. That is better than either repeating it or dropping one. When two of your own pages answer the same question in nearly the same words, Google has to pick one, and it may not pick the one you would have.

Noted and on the record. All three were already named correctly, so nothing on the site needed to change. We just wanted your yes in writing before launch, and now we have it.

“The Method” on the home page

You wrote at 9:46pm “1.On the home page: please revise this section to what is below:” and the copy you sent included a section headed The Method, with two paragraphs under it. Then at 10:34pm “C. remove entirely “the method” and its 2 paragraphs (this detail should live on the “what is AST” page)”

Both are yours, forty-eight minutes apart, and they point opposite ways. You are the only person who can say which one you meant, so we stopped here rather than guessing. Nothing was changed either way.

There is a cost to consider before you answer. That section is currently the only place your home page explains how the work actually works: the fabric, gravity, the fascial lines, the access from every angle. Your home page is the one that gets visited most, and it is the one an AI assistant is most likely to quote when someone asks “what is aerial somatic therapy”. If the section comes off entirely, the home page says you do spatial medicine in motion and then sends the reader elsewhere to find out what that means. Most visitors are fine with that. The machines that answer questions about you have less to work with.

The question

We think the 10:34 version is what you meant, and we would like to keep two or three sentences of the mechanism on the home page rather than none, so the page still answers “what is this” for someone who never clicks through.

What the buttons should say

This one did not come from your list. We noticed it while we were in there and want your call on it.

Every page has a button in the top corner, and on your live site it says Book a Session. That button does not open a calendar. It opens your contact form, so what actually happens is that someone writes you a message and waits to hear back. A button that promises booking and delivers a message form loses people at the exact moment they had decided to act.

Before you look at the pictures above. The “now” pictures in part one show that button reading Begin an Inquiry. That is one wording we tried while testing, not a decision. Whatever you choose here is what will actually go up.

Your testimonials, going back to full length

You wrote, September 7 “yes if you rememebr my original site has a many very very good testimonials from past students, many!!!” “lets not lose those when we shift to the new site. I do not have that info anywhere else and it is gold!”

They are not lost. Your original site is saved in full, every page of it, and the complete testimonials are in there.

Here is what needs fixing. When those quotes were carried across to the new site they were shortened into pull-quotes. The full versions run to around 1,959 words between them. What is on your site now is about 477 words. So roughly three quarters of what your students actually said about you is sitting in the archive instead of on your site, which is exactly backwards.

We are restoring all nine at full length. This is in progress on our side and does not need anything from you.

Two notes. Three of the nine will be described as trained in AST rather than certified, which is your own wording instruction and we are keeping it. And you mentioned you may still have the original video testimonials somewhere, possibly with Amy. If those turn up, they would be worth far more on the site than the text versions. No rush, and no need to hunt for them today.

The one sentence that replaced your care instructions

Taking the tying and washing sections off that page left a gap, so there is now a single line standing where they were:

“Setup, tying and care instructions are sent to you with your swing.”

Those are our words, not yours, which is why we are not putting them up without asking. It is also a small promise made on your behalf, so it should say what you actually intend to do.

The question

Is that sentence right, or would you rather word it yourself?

And a related one: your tying and washing instructions are saved and ready, but there is nowhere yet for a buyer to receive them. Do you want that to be an email that goes out automatically when someone orders, or a page only buyers can reach? Either is straightforward. We just need to know which.

Two sections you marked “same content”

In your layout for the What Is AST page you marked two sections as unchanged: Gravity as a Therapeutic Tool and Two Expressions, One Modality. We compared the text you pasted against what is on those pages now, and they are not quite the same. The differences are small, a line here and there, and they look like the sort of thing that happens when you paste from an older draft rather than a deliberate edit.

Because you marked them unchanged, we left those two sections alone and did not retype anything. Retyping is how a writer’s words quietly get altered, and we will not do that to yours.

The question

Do you want those two sections left exactly as they are on the site, or swapped for the versions you pasted? If you are not sure, we can send you both versions side by side and you can pick.

What happens next

Answer the questions in part two whenever you have a moment. A reply to our email is plenty, and you can take them one at a time. Nothing needs to be formal.

Once we have your answers, all of part one goes up at once, along with whatever part two turns into. Your site will change in a single step rather than in pieces, which keeps the whole thing coherent and means you only have to look at it once.
